Welcome to Virginia Cliffe Inn

The Virginia Cliffe Inn is a Bed & Breakfast as well as event venue located approximately 15 minutes north of Richmond, Virginia. The Inn is nestled among the trees in the settlement of Glen Allen on six acres which front historic Mountain Road; the path Thomas Jefferson traveled on trips from Charlottesville, to Richmond, and Williamsburg.

Each guest room includes a private bath, individual temperature control, flat screen televisions with cable, and wifi. Our rooms are individually decorated with Georgian style furnishings and decor, reminding you of times gone by. A light breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m. (by request only) and a full breakfast at 8:30 a.m.

In the winter you can stay warm and cozy sipping spiced tea in front of the fireplace of the wood-paneled den. In the summer you stroll through the back yard filled with flower gardens, a pond, and waterfall. Perhaps relax on a bench and read a book with a cold beverage, overlooking the rose garden.

The Virginia Cliffe Inn offers several wedding and reception packages, all designed to fit your needs! The majority of events take place outdoors between the beautiful gardens, 40'x50' permanent pavilion, 40'x40' permanent tent, and Cottage.

Special Events 

(In the Cottage):

The Cottage, a separate building located behind the main house, is available for rehearsal dinners, bridal and baby showers, business meetings and seminars.

Special Events (main house):

In addition, we offer hourly pricing for events held in the winter months inside the main house. Virginia Cliffe offers a Holiday Package and Shower Package (bridal or baby shower). Many clients prefer to host a holiday celebration party, bridal, or baby shower in the formal setting of the main house.
