The Virginia Cliffe Inn, a Bed & Breakfast just outside of Richmond, VA, is nestled among the trees in the settlement of Glen Allen just twelve miles north of Richmond.
The six acre grounds front on historic Mountain Road - the path Thomas Jefferson traveled on his trips from Charlottesville to Richmond and Williamsburg.
All of our spacious guest rooms include a private bath, flat screen TV's with basic cable, individual temperature control, and wifi. Each room is individually decorated with Georgian style furnishings and decor which will remind you of times gone by.
In the winter you can sip spiced tea in front of the fireplace in the wood-paneled den. In the summer you can sit in the back yard overlooking the rose garden and enjoy a cool drink.
The Inn and the spacious gardens are a lovely location for weddings and receptions - inside or out. The grounds include flower gardens with a fountain, a waterfall, and a pond with swans and ducks. Many brides choose our charming gazebo for the site of their plantation style outdoor wedding.
On the grounds we have a meeting house suitable for rehearsal dinners, business meetings and seminars. Scheduled weddings are often combined with accommodations for family, guests and the wedding party.
A light breakfast is served each morning at 7 a.m. for early risers and a full breakfast follows at 8:30 a.m. with a large selection of home cooked food.
